Exciting news! We’ve been voted by locals as one of top places to eat in North Devon.
We are now featured on a new app, which has been launched to help visitors to the North Devon area find out more about some of the best independent food and drink businesses the region has to offer.
The new North Devon Food Trail app features over 150 of North Devon’s unique food producer, all recommended by residents. The app features a huge array of local produce and food & drink businesses including fantastic deli’s, pubs, takeaways and cafes, and food producers showcasing artisan gin, luxury ice cream and local seafood.
It’s a bright, engaging app which is easy to use. You can search by location, by type of food and search for upcoming events. You can even follow one of the featured food trails with walks and tours of the area, which showcase a particular theme.
The app was commissioned by the North Devon Marketing Bureau (NDMB), with the aim of raising the profile of independent food and drink providers in the area.
Nick White from the North Devon Marketing Bureau explains “North Devon has a fantastic array of independent food and drink heroes, from restaurants, to street food, to artisan producers. Based on genuine recommendations from North Devon locals we’ve put together the must-have guide to eateries in the area.”
Liz Connor, owner of the Kings Arms said “This is a real first for North Devon and we are really proud to have been included. The fact that the businesses featured on the app have all been voted for by residents is a real accolade – it shows that locals recognise what we do and want to spread the word about independent food businesses in North Devon. We’d like to thank all those people who voted for us – we are very grateful!”
