In line with the recent Government announcement, we will be closing the doors to the restaurant on Wednesday 4th November at 10pm. If you have made a booking for the 5th November onwards, your reservation will be automatically cancelled. Due to imminent closure, we will not be placing any further food or drink orders with our suppliers so certain menu items may be unavailable in the run up to our closure. If you wish to visit us before we close, for food or drinks, you will still need a reservation, as we are still following COVID Secure guidelines, and tables are still operating on a limited capacity.
The current lockdown means that the earliest we will be able to open will be December 2nd, but this is of course conditional on the spread of the epidemic at the time. The timing of this lockdown and uncertainty about restrictions that may be imposed after that date mean that it is very difficult for us to make plans for December and the Christmas period as a whole. Therefore, at this stage, we are simply unable to answer questions about likely opening times, and menus, and of course what Christmas / New Years Eve will look like this year.
We do intend to re-open the business when it is safe to do so, so if you were planning to visit us this December we would advise you to follow our Social Media accounts and this Website, as we will publish any updates when we have been able to make plans.
Finally, we would like to thank everyone who has visited us since we re-opened on July 9th. The support for what we do has been incredible. Operating a pub is tough when times are good, but it’s even harder during these difficult times. Thankyou all for your support, it means the world to us.
So, until we meet again……
Liz, Paul and the team here at The Kings Arms
